Carrotwood
Carrotwood
Cupaniopsis anacardioides
The Carrotwood tree is one of our most popular evergreen trees. This tree offers a nice, dense canopy that provides shade year round. It can be maintained to a manageable size. The roots are somewhat manageable as well. We have these planted in front of our nursery near the sidewalk and have not had any issues with root damage. These trees do flower and set fruit that can be a nuissance but this can be remedied by pruning the tree annually. This is an easy care, low maintenance and hardy tree.
