Catalina plum is a popular large, black, fresh market plum. The white flesh is sweet and juicy but still firm when fully ripe. There is very little tartness at skin and pit. This plum receives very high taste test scores and is one of the best plums for fresh eating. The tree is vigorous and very productive.
