Calamondin

Citrus × microcarpa

Calamondin trees are noted for their beautiful foliage, fragrant blossoms and compact form. The small, oval, sour fruits turn yellow-orange when ripe and are usually used while still green. The fruits are widely cultivated in Southeast Asia and highly favored in Philippine cuisine where it used for cooking, juice or preserves.

This makes an excellent container or patio specimen and comes in semi-dwarf and standard sizes in both green and variegated leaf form.
