Tommy Atkins mango is another Haden seedling selection from Florida. It has become the most extensively planted export mango in the new world and it is the benchmark of the commercial mango industry. Its color, disease resistance and storage qualities appeal to merchants and consumers worldwide. Flavor is mildly sweet with a hint of tartness. Firm yellow flesh which has fibers. Aroma is described as tropical fruit and citrus. The fruit ripens June to July.
