Pineapple quince are large, smooth, yellow skinned fruits with tart flesh. The fruits are used in baking, jams, and jellies. One of the better quinces for fresh eating. The tree is highly ornamental with its profuse flowers and beautiful foliage. The trees are cold hardy yet only need low amounts of chilling to produce. This is the #1 commercial variety grown in California.
